Common questions
What counts as an asset we can finance?
Broadly, things a business uses to do work and that can be identified and secured - vehicles, trucks, trailers, plant, machinery and equipment. If it has a serial number or a VIN and it earns its keep, it is usually financeable.
What will not qualify?
Property and anything bought purely as an investment. Asset finance works because the asset does something and can be registered against; that is not true of land, shares or precious metals. We also lend in New Zealand only.
Lease or loan - which is better?
It depends on whether you want to own the asset at the end and how your accountant treats it, which is genuinely a question for them rather than for us. What we can do is show you both structures with real numbers so the conversation with your accountant is a short one.
