Fleet finance

Fleet Finance

Financing several vehicles at once is a different conversation to financing one, and the structure that suits a growing fleet is rarely the one that suits a single purchase. Dynamic Finance arranges the lending, and we will tell you plainly what it costs before you commit.

Fleet Finance with Dynamic Finance

We are not tied to any dealership or manufacturer. One application goes to a panel of lenders and they compete for it, and we tell you the outcome either way rather than leaving it sitting.

What we will need from you

For a business purchase we usually need your IRD number, recent GST returns or financials, and details of the truck. If you are an owner-operator without a full set of accounts, say so - several of our lenders assess on contract income and bank statements instead, and we will point your application at them rather than at the ones that will decline it.

If you are refinancing an existing truck to free up working capital, we can look at that at the same time.

What we will need from you

For a business purchase we usually need your IRD number, recent GST returns or financials, and details of what you are buying. If you are an owner-operator without a full set of accounts, say so early rather than late.

Several lenders on our panel assess on contract income and bank statements instead, and we would rather point your application at those than have it declined by one that was never going to say yes.

Can I get truck finance as a new owner-driver?

It is harder without trading history, but it is not automatic decline. What helps most is a signed contract or letter of engagement showing the work is there, a deposit, and a realistic view of what the truck needs to earn. Some lenders on our panel specialise in exactly this and others will not look at it, which is most of what a broker is for. All lending is subject to lender assessment and approval.

Can I finance the body or tray as well as the truck?

Yes, and it is usually cleaner to finance the finished vehicle than to buy a cab chassis and put the body on a card. Tell us the total including the build rather than the price of the chassis alone.

Does the truck have to be new?

No. Used trucks finance perfectly well, though the term available shortens as the vehicle ages, because a lender is looking at what it will be worth at the end of the loan rather than today. Hours and service history matter more than the year on the plate.

Broker or dealer finance?

Dealer finance is one lender with a target to hit. We are not.

Dynamic Finance

Dealer finance

  • Rate tied to the sale, not to you
  • Terms set to suit the deal on the floor
  • Refinancing rarely on the table
  • Pressure to sign on the day

How it works

1

Tell us about the truck

Make, model, age, hours or kilometres, and what it will be doing.

2

We take it to the right lenders

Not every lender understands commercial vehicles. We go to the ones that do.

3

Approved and earning

Documents to sign, settlement with the seller, and the truck starts paying for itself.

Get the truck sorted

Tell us what you are buying and what it will be doing, and we will come back with real options - usually the same day.
