Buying privately?
A lot of the best boats, bikes and vans are sold privately, and that is where finance usually gets awkward - the seller wants cleared funds and you want to know the money is safe.
We settle directly with the seller, check there is no money owing against it on the PPSR first, and handle the paperwork between you. You do not need to hand over anything before that is done.
Licence class, insurance and the order to do things in
Insurance is the cost that catches people out on a bike, and on some models it is a larger annual number than a rider expects. It is worth getting a quote before you commit rather than after the finance is approved.
Your licence class matters too, because a learner-approved bike and the one you actually want may be different machines. If you are buying privately we check the PPSR first and settle directly with the seller.
