Buying privately?
A lot of the best boats, bikes and vans are sold privately, and that is where finance usually gets awkward - the seller wants cleared funds and you want to know the money is safe.
We settle directly with the seller, check there is no money owing against it on the PPSR first, and handle the paperwork between you. You do not need to hand over anything before that is done.
How aircraft finance actually works
Aircraft finance is a specialist arrangement rather than something you complete on a web form. Very few lenders in New Zealand write it, the security position depends on the register and the airframe, and hours, maintenance history and engine time matter more than calendar age.
We would rather have a conversation than take an application. Tell us the aircraft, the hours and whether it is for private or commercial use, and we will tell you honestly whether it is something we can place - including when the answer is no. All lending is subject to lender assessment and approval.
